Bitmex/PT UI showing negative margin value for Dot Perpetual long trade in the Positions tab

Latest view of the Positions tab shows the same trade with positive margin.

The number that matters is the overall margin. This is because the system uses span portfolio margin. Sometimes you’ll see individual margins being negative. This usually happens when you have offsetting positions within one asset like long btc perps and short btc calls. Developer was supposed to add a margin explanation showing how the calculation works and all the shock scenarios (9 of them). In your case I don’t see why the dot perp is giving back margin.
