Update current code base to accommodate Pandas major upgrade to 3.0

Certain functionality/behavior will be deprecated with the new upgrade to Pandas library. This is a follow up issue to this.

This issue is left open on purpose. The team is currently working on solutions that could circumvent the impact caused by Pandas version upgrade.
