The intention was for the issue to be marked as stale after 30 days, and closed after another 10 days, and so the documentation says, but that is not how the config file is written. Due to a misinterpreting of the example Stale config file comments, issues are marked as stale after 30 days, and then closed after another 40 days.
Easiest is to just update the documentation than changing the config in all repos. Any maintainer that want to change these values to either less or more days are welcome to do so.
I suggest we change the documentation to reflect the current default values.
