@o-l-a-v hsve you seen this behaviour at all with the ordinary non-integrated powershell console in VSCode?
I’ve actually noticed similar behaviour in PowerShell’s own Windows console when I move it between screens of different resolutions. I lose the prompt and cursor and there’s no suggestion that it responds to input. Sometimes I can get it back by resizing the window repeatedly.
@rjmholt No, I haven't. I usually use ISE because every time I come back to VSCode, weird stuff like this happens, and it makes my work take longer.
I think it might be related to scaling though, I've had other programs (ConnectWise Manage client) act weird after unlocking after sleep mode. I use different Windows scaling for my monitors than the laptop screen itself.
I have a similar problem. I have manjaro linux and every time my screen locks, my terminal goes black and is unusable. I have to kill it and restart a new terminal every time.
Can't remember that I've managed to reproduce this in a long long time, so I'll close it.
