new build for karmic 64bit in the downloads #250

Most of the People outside now run Karmic on the New Computer Hardware 64Bit
The CNC will maybe be on old Hardware(hardy) but in office the Newones are
comming up!

So it woudt be nice to provide a precompild packege for these System i386
is available already for Ubuntu 9.10 karmic so the 64bit version shoud be
available also

true, but i currently do not have any x86-64 machines to build on, nor for 
testing.

i should do some fresh builds soon, but i fear that these will be only for 8.04 
(emc2 compatible) and 9.10, 
since i also don't have any 9.04 around anymore.

if somebody wants to get a ppa going, please holler if you need help.

I'd love to see something similar for heeks. 

By "ppa", do you mean a Launchpad Personal Package Archive?

Someone named BidBaaadBob created a heekscad PPA on launchpad but there is 
nothing in it.

It would be great to get this going.  I'm looking into how to create Debian 
source packages and upload them to a PPA.

Hi,

There is a new PPA with HeeksCNC suite (heekscnc + heekscad + libarea + 
opencamlib) packages.
Please note that are daily-built development packages, this should not be 
considered as stable (ie. release)
