I am experiencing the same problem and my configuration is as follows:
1. What is the technical error you are experiencing?
I can load Navi-x, and the Navi-Xtreme Portal; however, Navi-X hangs when
accessing Search, Top results from the past 24 hours / past 7 days.
2. What steps will reproduce the problem?
> Navi-X -> Navi-Xtreme Portal -> Search Navi-Xtreme
> Navi-X -> Navi-Xtreme Portal -> Top Results from the past [24 hours] [7 days]
3. What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
For search, I expect to see a list of media entries matching the search query,
and for Top Results from [24 hours / 7 days], I expect to see user playlists.
Instead I get a "please wait..." message that never goes away and can't be
cleared. A couple of times the hang would eventually (between 2-5 minutes)
cause Navi-X and XBMC to crash, but the typically the hang would last for
longer than 10 minutes, requiring me to force a reset, by pulling the power
cable.
4. What version number of Navi-X are you using?
3.7.8
5. What media center platform, version and operating system are you using?
XBMC Frodo v12.2, via nitoTV version 0.8.4 on an Apple TV 2 (iOS 4.4.4)
6. Please provide any additional information below:
The Navi-X hang occurred on my system when I was running Navi-X script 3.7.7 on
XBMC Eden 11.0, and an earlier version of NitoTV (0.8.1 I think). In
troubleshooting the Navi-X hang, I patched Navi-X, XBMC and NitoTV to the
latest releases (See Answer #5 above). The error and hang persisted through
the upgrades.
