$this->route returns garbage

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. newest ver of yii and yii-user
2. echo $this->route from f.e. sites/layouts/main.php
3. it returns f.e. user/user/login or user/user/login/login instead of 
user/login (assuming you are visiting user/login)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

as in point 3.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

yii 1.1.7
yii-user current

PHP 5.3.3-1ubuntu9.3 with Suhosin-Patch (cli) (built: Jan 12 2011 16:08:14)

I've found the routes require /user/user twice in some instances... having a 
hard time sorting out all the issues here.

this issue affect the "active" status in navigation menu... it's a pain...
