Use-case analysis of the web application

AS-level graph visualizations

• Current snapshot graph
• Past snapshot graphs
• Filtered graphs
  • Graphs with only a subset of ASes chosen based on some parameter (e.g. degree, transit degree)
  • Graphs with only a subset of links (e.g. only P2P links or only P2C links)
  • Graphs containing ASes only from a particular region (e.g. only Indian ASes)
• AS-centric graphs : Graphs with a particular AS (or ASes) in focus and connections with its neighbors. Visualization of what Cyclops does.
• Graphing user given data
• Bipartite graphs : Define 2 sets of ASes and show links only between them (e.g. links between Indian and American ASes)
• Prefix reachability : All ASes which can reach given prefix. When an AS is selected, the route via which the prefix can be reached is shown. Same as BGPlay, with additional geographical data about ASes.

Reports (Analytics for ASes)

• Graphs of various metrics of the AS-level topology over a period of time. Some of the metrics are mentioned here
