It would be cool to support other media players too. I really like the task bar 
integration Win7Shell does, but no other programs do that (they're all very 
limited

There's nothing stopping other people from porting it to another player 
(bearing in mind the gpl3 requirements) but i doubt a version for other players 
is going to be provided from at least atti or myself.
