Notifications not delivered when using hostname to identify laptop #546

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Setup specific hostname NEW-INSPIRON
2. Send test notification
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should see the notification on desktop, but I don't. It works well if I 
specify a single IP of my laptop.
