At least create the Cloudflare account. Either Pythonanywhere or a VPS like Linode, too. Choose wisely.

We will need these hosting accounts:

@kenancasey @Soyokaze-42 @asherlloyd I have created the fedora-39 linode instance and done a few setup steps (install fail2ban, disable root ssh login). I can add you to the linode access and/or give you a login on the system. What would you prefer?

kenancasey commented 10 months ago

Which of those is lower-level access?

benjoeclark commented 10 months ago

I believe the linode account would allow you to change configurations of the hosting for the linode. The login would be set up in wheel so you could sudo but would just let you remote into the server. You would likely need the login even if you have the linode account anyway so that might be the place to start.

I definitely don't want to be the only one who has these. I'd prefer that @Soyokaze-42 take point on this if it's a one person thing. If it's cool for us to all have accounts/access then let's do that.

Remember not to post anything secret in this public repo.

My vote would be to issue each of us with ssh keys + logins - with the service ultimately being hosted using a scripturedprayer user to handle nginx/python/etc.
