First of all thank you for the making this beautiful and functional widget available.

On my desktop, I have nothing except a wall-paper and your widget (see attachment)!

I am planning to move away from KDE and use openbox. I have found replacements for all the apps I use daily. Except I can't find anything that comes close to your widget.

If you were going to port your plasmoid to a non-kde environment, how would you do it? I probably won't have time this year to do this, I may have time next year. What programming language would you use? Are there libraries to help with this sort of thing for openbox (x11).

You can try to make a conky widget similar to this.
