Braille: Single Word Switch Indicator #1904

We discussed this in Baltimore.

Strings of math content should be enclosed in Nemeth Switch Indicators. The Nemeth terminator should be used when returning to UEB literary braille for 2 or more words. If a single, literary word interrupts a string of math content, then a single-word switch indicator should be used to avoid jumping in and out of the Nemeth code excessively.

Nemeth in UEB Transcriber Manual, PDF page 105

4.6 The Single-Word Switch Indicator: Words that do not provide mathematical meaning are tran- scribed in UEB. To avoid use of switch indicators when a single word (or hyphenated compound word) occurs between two math expressions, the single-word switch indicator is used to indicate that the following word (or hyphenated compound word) is in UEB. The indicator is unspaced from the word. Contractions are used according to the rules of UEB. The switch is required on a single word even if the word contains no contractions. UEB typeform may be applied to the word, as appropriate. The effect of the single-word switch indicator is terminated by a space, and Nemeth Code resumes.

We can do this, but lots of work, so will defer. I'm going to mark some of these as "wishlist" so I can see what needs attention and what can wait. This does not mean they will be ignored.
