+1 Same on my LG OLED TV. Seems LG somehow groups channels. It looks like channels 1-99 are most watched/needed channels. Channels 100-200 are all channels from the public television station ARD, 200-300 are those from German ZDF and so on. As several channels are under both groups (the top watched channels and also the broadcast station specific group), you have them 2 or even more times (SD / HD) in the channel list.
So a feature to remove duplicates and asking whether to keep HD or SD (if there are SD / HD duplicates) would be awesome!
+1 at this moment fix it by hands
But! sometimes only one channel in doubles work. manually rename (like name 1, name 2, name 3) and then import to TV and check
I searched my samsung tv for channels and exported channel list to usb. When I opened the .zip in ChanSort, I realized that some channels are repeated (the same name and frequency).
So I was forced to delete duplicates manually based on channel's name and frequency.
I suggest to add remove duplicated channels feature.
