I have no experience with this particular TV model. Did you try using a USB stick formatted with the FAT32 file system? The TV may not be able to write data to a stick that is formatted with NTFS. If the TV has multiple USB ports, maybe only of them is supported for this kind of operation (firmware update, data export/import) while the others are for media files only.

Actually its really hard to find any information about this, but as I can see the problem is the following: Im using a C9 with a CI card from my service provider, first, the TV's country was set to United Kingdom, this way the copy option was availabe but a bunch of my channels wasnt, after that I set the proper country, this way all of my channels is available now, but I think the CI card somehow disable the copy option. But these are my thoughts only, Im maybe wrong

I heard of a situation where the import/export function was disabled/missing. That was caused by an earlier version of ChanSort which set a "allowUpdate" field to "false" in the hope that the TV won't automatically change the number again. The user reported that he got the import/export function back after a factory reset.

There is also the limitation of the LG firmware that any sort of predefined list (country specific, "Astra 19.2 List", "Sky", ...) cannot be successfully edited. The TV does offer the import/export options, but when importing a file while a predefined list is in the TV's memory, all sorts of weird things happen to the channels.

I had this issue, what worked for me:

  1. Turn off the safety/secure option, which is basically Parental lock.
  2. Turn off the eco mode of HDD in settings too.
