Samsung UE55K6370 - change channel list by itself #298

I have uploaded an edited list of satellite channels (polsat/poland) to the TV, sometimes after 1 minute sometimes after 10 minutes the TV changes the channel list to the original one. Automatic tuning is switched off. I did not change any other settings like sorting, autotuning etc. Previously for almost 3 years everything worked without problems until the channel search was accidentally switched on. Now every time I upload my channel list the TV replaces it after a few moments.

The firmware version is 1243

You know I seen a similar issue with my parents TV when I tried to import sorted channels.

I found the issue I was having was channels in my list that were not found when tuning. I ran a new install on the satellite channels and them exported, I used a list of I had from my hope to apply sort and then imported the sort to the TV. After minuets or sometimes when I went to a channel they all moved.

After investigation, I found my parents TV was not finding some channels that were on my list that I was applying. Even though we are both in Ireland using the same satellite, I though we would get the same stations. Did not have time to try fix the scan and get the missing stations.
I did a manually sort, without applying my list and it worked fine.

Maybe you have a similar issue.

I wasn't aware of this issue with Samsung TVs so far and don't have a definitive solution. Just a thought... the sorted list that you try to upload, was that list exported when the TV was set to auto-update channels? It's possible that the channel list has the setting to auto-update inside of it, so when you import that list, it turns that setting on and the TV starts reordering. Maybe it helps to set the setting off on the TV, run a new search, new export, apply your already sorted list as a reference list for the new one and then import the new one in the TV.

Maybe a factory reset before starting the channel search could help too. Sometimes, if there were firmware updates, the old channel data and new software are not 100% compatible.

After accidentally starting the channel scan, I saved the list on the usb, then edited it in ChanSort and uploaded it to the TV. The TV had the auto scan function turned off all the time. Factory reset does not help, TV still changes channel list. I will try to set the search from "satellite" source instead of operator (polsat) and then edit, maybe it will help.
