Some channels are getting randomly reordered by Tornado 43ES9300E-A(Toshiba) #386

I experience a random-reorder problem in combination with a Tornado 43ES9300E-A.(Toshiba)

When I import the modified dtv_cmdb_2.bin file to the TV the channels are displayed in the correct order in the first seconds. When the TV is running for a few minutes some channels are moved randomly. Every auto-update function for channels is disabled. I can't see any structure; but it often affects "Welt", "ProSieben", "Super RTL", "VOX" and "Kabel Eins".

For me it sounds like the problem you mentioned in the release notes from "ChanSort 2023-10-28": "hopefully fixed corrupted Tornado(Toshiba) lists after channels were deleted (causing the TV to reorder channels after a reboot)" except the fact that I don't delete any channels.

Thank you for your great work! Please let me know if you need any further information.

I'm not really familiar with the technical details of this TV type. My only guess is that if there was some kind of pre-ordered, country-specific channel list applied when the TV was set up (like "Das Erste HD" automatically put at #1), then the TV might try to enforce some order that it has stored in its firmware.

Some TVs automatically order an Astra 19.2 list based on the country setting. Others ask if an "Astra 19.2" or "Sky" or "Other" list should be used. If there's any chance, select a neutral option like "none" or "other".

Can you send me your list (including the .bak files) so I can take another look if maybe ChanSort makes some unintended changes?

@PredatH0r i have the same problem, either the fix of deleted channel is still found for me on deleting or ordering channels idk if its something from the tv software (because order and deleted channels is back to original before my update when the power source is completely cut out from the tv) or it can be fixed from the bin files.. this is the export of my channels [ ChannelList.zip ]
