BBC iPlayer "HbbTV"? stops working after sorting. #401

I have to to a full channel scan on my LG TV every year or 2 because channels disappear or move. Recently BBC dropped all the SD channels and added HD equivalent so a re-scan was needed. Anyway after copying the channel list over to the laptop, I noticed that on the TV, the unsorted channels were offering to play the current show from the start by going straight to iPlayer (web streamed content), this wasn't there before, and only seen this kind of integration on newer TVs

After I finished sorting and put the sorted list back on the TV I noticed I no longer get the pop-up prompts. Reading into this I think that this is the HbbTv function that some people complain about. I would like to enable this, but how can I re-enable the feature on a channel list once it has been sorted in chansort?

Can you please send me your original list (.bak) and the modified list (.TLL)? I will compare them just to make sure that nothing else other than then channel numbers are changed.

I can only speculate that the TV's firmware might contain some logic that depends on country setting and the original channel numbers for special functions like "play from start".

Thanks. From a quick check it seems only the channel order is different. Country is listed as "EU" I wonder if that might be the problem? Can the TV have different country setting than is exported? LG.01-03-2024.zip
