Since PostgreSQL seems to be the most popular Rails/SQL database, we've added support for it. Additionally, Heroku uses PostgreSQL by default and we'll be adding Heroku support.
Adding MySQL is a bit difficult due to its specific datatypes and having to test another DB on the Project permutations.
I don't think we'll add this unless I get a lot of requests for it.
