Facebook Sidebar Error

You are here because:

Facebook stores cookies automatically, and if you're logged out of facebook in your browser, they want you to login in order to keep fetching data and they also enforce a spam filter.

To reset this you have 3 options:

Option A: Login to facebook on your browser -> in the extension settings, click the "edit" button for the Sidebar FB Gaming feature -> then click save -> then wait a few seconds for it to refresh.

Option B: If you do not wish to login to facebook: Wait, it seems that sometimes the errors stop after 30-60 minutes.

Option C: If you do not wish to login to facebook:

1. Close all facebook tabs on your browser.
2. If you have a lot of streamers in your FB streamers list, remove a few (try to have a max of 6 or 7).
3. Turn off the "Sidebar Facebook Gaming" feature in the extension settings and refresh your twitch tabs.
4. Clear you browser's facebook-related site data and cookies (instructions below).
5. wait 1 hour before turning the feature on and do not visit facebook on your browser during that 1 hour.
6. after at least 1 hour, turn the feature on and wait a few seconds for it to refresh.

Clear browser's facebook-related site data and cookies

Chrome:

• go to chrome://settings/content/all?searchSubpage=facebook
• clear all entries related to facebook.

Firefox:

• go to about:preferences#privacy
• under "Cookies and Site Data" section click on "Manage Data...".
• in the popup search for "facebook".
• remove all facebook related entries in the box,
• click "Save Changes".

Other browsers:

• Clear facebook related site data and cookies from your browser's settings.
