@mariam16548 Thank you for the code you sent yesterday evening!

I began with your version, then created my own. I think you will recognize lots of it, and I hope you will be inspired by the current version, which culminates in the retrieval of one high-scoring motif match for CTCF in a 2kb region of chr19.

A fresh pull will get you a new directory and a single file:

      explore/unitTesting-paulsVersion/assessHitsWithFimo.R

This comes with my usual request: please study the code, work to comprehend every line, ask questions early and often!
