Unable to Edit Metadata in My Profile #164

Describe the bug

I'm unable to update my profile. After attempting to edit my profile and saving the changes, I received "Unable to post edited metadata. Please try again."

Steps to reproduce

  1. Go to "Profile."
  2. Tap the "edit profile" button
  3. Make changes to the profile information.
  4. Tap the "save profile" button.
  5. See the error message

Expected behavior

I should be able to successfully update my profile without encountering any error messages.

What relays do you use?

I was running into this same issue and turning off Enhanced Privacy under the Network section in Settings solved it for me. Turned it back on right after editing and everything continued to work smoothly.

Without list or relays we can not investigate the issue.
