I'm really trying to figure out if this is planned or not.

I can log in with a browser extension at getalby.com. It keeps you private key and allows log-in.

Right now the only way to log in is with a direct nsec private key, which I was able to get from the Android mobile app to mirror that account on the web version. For accounts that are established via metadata.nostr.com, that key doesn't seem to be available. So being able to log in through that other nostr profile seems to be impossible.
