Multi-language sitemaps are not currently supported in wagtail. https://github.com/wagtail/wagtail/issues/1196 Google's XML sitemap requirements: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2620865?hl=en

I think this one is actually import for SEO and indexing once we publicly enable other languages on the site

@blms - did we do this once the Hebrew and Arabic sites went live?

Not as far as I know @richmanrachel. This wasn't on my radar, but it looks like that wagtail issue is still open, so presumably any multilingual sitemap would exclude all of our content pages (like about pages, contact page, etc).
