Reverts PrincetonUniversity/Iseult#20

I was happy that spectra plotted correctly, as Adam confirmed. However my last issue is still not resolved

Maybe I'm confused with all these PRs and issues, but there may have been another thing which I cannot reproduce anymore. The other open issues can be fixed independently of this PR. If I come across the missing issue, I will add it.
