AMD Shader Patch 1.6.1 texture issues #138

When using a AMD GPU the shader patch seems to distort certain areas of the environment I have messed around with the shader patch configurator however nothing seems to fix this issue from occurring and I'm currently running the latest AMD drivers. I hope that this issue can be looked into as this issue only occurs on my AMD card not my Nvidia card. Furthermore, I have ensured that I have installed the shader patch correctly. 20230128112747_1

When I remove the shader patch from my game files the issues magically go away and I'm unsure as to what specifically is causing these issue to occur when I use the shader patch when a don't use the shader patch the issues go away however I then can't play at 4k resolution without running into scaling issues and on otoh Gungan map I get this weird shader bug that won't go away unless I use the shader patch so I'm kind of stuck in a hard place of using or not using the shader patch as i want to be able to enjoy this game at a higher resolution without graphical issues.

I understand if this issue can't be solved anytime soon but I hope this issue can be looked over by others who read this post to see if they can find a solution to this issue or if the developer of this shader patch can look into why this issue is occurring I've spent a lot of hrs. trying to solve this issue and it seems this is a issue that is beyond me on my end as I don't know the workings that went into this mod to get it to work.

did you have any luck on this? i encountered the same bug, but as a noob to modding, i wouldnt know where to begin in troubleshooting myself.

I have the same issue like you, i also play on an AMD GPU. My game is even complet clear, so there cant be a mod conflict on my side.

btw what mod are you playing? it looks amazing!

I'm using HarrisonFog remaster project mod i've made a youtube video on how to install the remaster project that you can check out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHHtVjZ839E

You are correct these issues aren't due to mod conflicts this is just an issue with the shader patch itself not being able to play nicely with AMD cards for some reason. We will just have to wait and see if the developer of the shader patch fixes this issue in the future.

Unfortunately no I haven't found a fix on my end it seems like this issue is something that the developer of the shader patch would have to fix. It has nothing to do with a mod conflict it's just the shader patch itself has issues with AMD Graphics Cards.
