Compatibility with ADTPro Virtual Ethernet Drive

Description

• The ADTPro Virtual Ethernet Drive replaces the Disk II driver at @$D000.

• But what may not be well known is that it allows to restore the Disk II driver by reloading it from /PRODOS. In order to do so it assumes the Disk II driver to start at offset $3300 of that file.

I understand very well that this is a very specific scenario and if there are good reasons to change the layout of /PRODOS in upcoming versions then compatibility with ADTPro Virtual Ethernet Drive for sure isn't a strong argument. However, I wanted to make you aware of that dependency.

Sorry for being unclear about that :-(

ProDOS 2.4 for sure does not show the issue. I presume that ProDOS 2.5 doesn't show it too. My issue is rather meant as a hint that there's in general at least one program out there that makes assumptions on the layout of the file /PRODOS. So this isn't an issue at all. It's only a potential future issue. I just don't know a better place for that piece of information.
