The openspoor package is intended to allow easy transformation between different geographical and topological systems commonly used in Dutch Railway. Its goal is to be publicly available and function as an open source package.
In a (currently open) pull request we are adding the spoortak models data.
Which is very static data that does not change but is required for some of the functions.
Currently these functions help you map current spoortak names to historic spoortak names.
This to group historic measurements and images, of an existing piece of equipment at a particular location.
However two files of the latest version 18 could not be added
BBMS_BOOG_HORIXONTAAL_18.dbf
BBMS_SEGMENT_18.dbf
Because they both exceed the 50mb limit of github.
This does not block the current functionality but it would be nice to have the complete model data available.

We could start using: https://git-lfs.github.com/
or come to an other solution how package users can get hold of the data needed to run some of these functions.
Note the data is part of the package (just part of the repo)
