Right now the behavior of application in case of invalid data is not well defined. This was observed in case of null values in obligatory fields and null values in non-obligatory fields.
One part of addressing this would be to create a script checking data validity during loading.
Possible handling for a given data point:
null position: do not pass that point to the application. If we can't show where it is, it's useless for the user.
null name: presumably we could still render this point
Moreover, in both cases we would like some kind of notification to be sent to the admin.
If there is a null value in a non-obligatory field, we can ignore that field and not represent it in the application.
