REGRESSION: No, Reproducible on Sugarcore7.6.0.0 Ent (Build1552) using I.E. 11 on Stack127. Yes, Fixed in Sugarcore7.7.0.0 (the corresponding Bug ID is MAR294 6) STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Go to any sidecar module say Accounts and choose a random account (create one if you don't have one).
  2. Go to the email subpanel and click "Create".
  3. Click on the attachment button, select an executable file (file extension ".exe"). 4 . Click on "Send" button. EXPECTED RESULT:
  4. If an executable file is attached, the following error message will now be displayed: 'Error Executable attachments are not accepted by your SMTP server. Email not sent.' ACTUAL RESULT:
