Hi Tracey
As discussed yesterday, I think the simplest solution is a little code change to this effect:
The output pallet gets its characteristics from it's related input lot - including the purchase prices/values We must change the code to NOT override these purchase prices/values on the output if these fields were left blank on the pallet production lines.
I'll create dev task and schedule.
Kind regards Heidi

Hi Heidi
We have an issue with the Intended Purchase Price since this update. We do not change the Purchase Price for Output pallets - now if a purchase price is not entered the price is set as 0.00. We now have to go and look up the price for the input pallet and enter it in the production line.
It would make sense that if the Intended Purchase Price is 0.00 on the Pallet Production Line then the Original Pallet ID field value is used as was the case before the update.
Thanks
Tracey

Originally posted by HeidiMalherbe July 31, 2024 We've made it possible to enter the intended purchase currency, price, intended purchase comment and external purchase reference for output pallets in pallet production lines. These values are then stored on the output pallet lines that are created when the production lines are posted.
While such output pallets will not actually be paid to the producer, it is still required to have an intended purchase price for these output pallets when they are allocated to customers, added to containers and their produce trades created. The ability to capture these intended purchase values early on during pallet production eliminates the need to update the intended purchase values later on in the process.
