Fix logic for Markdown default render #55

Looks good to me, though I don't trust myself to fully get this kind of logic right without verification via code execution :) Which is why I started https://github.com/ProfessionalWiki/ExternalContent/pull/52, but that will take too much time to finish up. Could still create PHPUnit integration test.
