Hi, Thanks for feedback! We are looking into this now. Should have a solution soon.
The quickest way to fix this, is by uploading v6.1.6 as an Organizational Visual and use that until we have the new fix in place. You can find that file here: https://github.com/Profitbase/PowerBI-visuals-FinancialReportingMatrix/releases/tag/v6.1.6
And here's info on how to upload the file as an Organizational Visual: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/admin/organizational-visuals#add-a-visual-from-a-file

Hello,
I would like to report the same issue with the visual having been updated for me via AppSource last night. Most calculations and many steps in edit mode do not work any longer, and adding a column formula or a Column conditional formatting is not recorded as a step. Luckily I have the RC which works fine.
Hope you can find a fix. And let me know if you need an example or additional details
best,
Franck.
Thanks @franckhedin, Are you on RC1 or RC2?
We'll let you know if we need an example, but for now, I believe we have enough details to troubleshoot.

Hi @AndersAano, I'm facing a similar issue with column formulas while using field parameters as columns. The column formulas work fine for the originally selected field, but as soon as I change the field the column formulas display zero. This error only occurs in the service and does not occur in desktop.
Is this the same issue and will it be resolved by uploading v6.1.6 as an Organizational visual?
Thanks, Nick
Hi all @nickhayw , @franckhedin and @98vbusinessintelligence
We have a fix for this ready in a beta version.
Could you reach out on pbi.visuals@profitbase.com, and I can send you that beta for testing. If it gives the expected result, we will hopefully be ready to submit that new version to Microsoft very soon.
But since I'm pretty sure all of you have different combinations of features, and different layout, it would be great if you could test that for us.
It would take less than 5 minutes to complete such a test, so I won't steal a lot of your time.

Hi @98vbusinessintelligence @franckhedin @nickhayw
The fix is available here: https://github.com/Profitbase/PowerBI-visuals-FinancialReportingMatrix/releases/tag/v7.1.0-rc3.2
Will be submitted to Microsoft AppSource within a weeks time, unless someone reports back important new issues.

Hi, I also have the issue that the Column formular is only working on the 1st instance. What is strange to me, is that in the Desktop file is works fine, but when I publish it to the services - it does not work. Even with the fix visual. Any help you can provide here ?
Hi @mhennemuth, It might be that your Power BI Desktop is not up to date. If it is at an earlier version than December 2022, you will have version 6.1.6 of the visual.
While Power BI Service will be up to date, using v7.0.1 of our visual which has this bug.
Could you check which Desktop version you are on? Click File - > About, and you should see the version there.
Yes, I am still on the Aug 2022 version - it is always a major task to upgrade to new version in our org.
Ok, so I have to be on a later Desktop version to use the v7.1 and then Power BI Service will also use this version, instead of the v7.0.1 with the bug ?
Any info when your new version will be published on the pbi Service ?
Thank You,
P.S. great visual !
Hi Aano, any news when the new version will been released in the AppSource ? Thanks,
Hi @AndersAano,
I'm actually still facing an error with column formulas when I have an attribute in both 'Rows' and 'Columns'. Seems that the update has not helped and I'm actually noticing the issue in desktop now, when initially I was only seeing it when publishing to the service.
I have tried adding a column formula to an existing measure, but the value only works for the first column dimension and is repeated for all other dimensions in the visual.
I am using December 2022 version of Power BI, and the 7.0.1 version of Profitbase matrix (imported from Appsource).
It's a shame case everything else seems to work fine, and I only need to add column formulas because I have an existing variance that I am trying to use to see ratio variance.
Hope to hear back from you soon. thanks. Nick
Hi @nickhayw ,
Version 7.1 has been submitted to Microsoft, and is currently waiting to pass Certification. Should not be long before it has passed that step. But until then, I don't have an estimate on when it will be rolled out and available for all in AppSource.
I'll let you know once I know more.

Hi Anders, I checked the visual store and it seems the new version 7.1.1.0 has been released yesterday. However, when I download the new - the visual about screen still shows the old version number ? I am getting the message to ask if I want to upgrade to the new version, but as said - the visual about screen still shows the old version number.
What more important, the error/bug with the column formular is still there. I have published the report again, hopeing that the new version will be picked up by the service, but still the error is not been fixed.
Do I do anything wrong to update to the new version ? Will it take a moment to message to our Service ?
Please advise
Thank You,
Hi,
Updating visuals in AppSource is not a straight forward task.. AppSource will always show the last certified version - which correctly is 7.1.1 as it was certified yesterday.
However, making that version available for all regions will take anything from some days to 2 weeks, depending on regions and roll-out schedules.
If you have the visual in your PowerBI report, it will update automatically once it has rolled out, and made available in your region.
-Anders
Alright - sounds like a bit more patience is in order !
Thank you for the insights
Hi @98vbusinessintelligence @franckhedin @nickhayw @mhennemuth ,
The version with the fix should now be out on AppSource. Could you check if the issue has been resolved?
-Anders
Hi, I checked it and it looks good now ! Thank You,
Hi Anders, sorry for the late reply, all looks good on my end too. I have noticed a new bug where hidden measures in the matrix are messing with the width of the dimension columns, but I was able to resolve this by updating the column styles to 0 width. Thanks, Nick
Hi.
I still have this issue:
I clicked in Selected Period in Commercial, but it maintains the Commercial value and context in Executive.
I am using the 7.1.1 version. Could you help me?
Tks
Hi @luizsfjr, Are you using calculation groups, or separate measures for this? Could you show me this part of the visual?
Best regards Andes
Hi, @AndersAano.
This is my structure:
I don't know if it's important, but i am using parameters in Column and the DAX is different between Columns values and Total values.
Hi, @luizsfjr
We are still not able to recreate this scenario on our desktop.
If it's possible could you send your data to this email: pbi.visuals@profitbase.com Then we can have a better understanding of what is causing this issue.
Best regards, Sander
I am using the add column formula on a variance measure/field in the visual which has been overriding the column formula correctly for each weeks columns for quite a few months. Today, all of the week columns, no matter the date, shows only the first week's variance number calculation. Even if I update each recurrence of that same variance column, it will just update all variance columns to the actual columns I've picked instead of applying to all columns coming from the same field in the Value Field setting. I have attached screenshots of what it should show and what it is currently showing with this issue. Incorrect calculation (how it is currently showing) : Correct calculation (how it has been showing previously) :
