The ColumnHeader() is not possible to use in conditional formatting. What is the use case here. Maybe we have another way to solve it.

could something like this work?

I didn't have any data that wasn't connected to a department, so I'm missing the blank first column that you show, so I split the cost from Company 1 instead, but it should work the same.

You can hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard while clicking a cell to use absolute reference to that cell. So for instance do that on the Admin value.

Then click normally on Sales, and Ctrl click on the Total Sales value, and then you have what you need to make your calculations.

Thank you for the solution. However, upon further examination, I would like to distribute the amount that Company 1 (5171719) has among the other two companies based on their sales, excluding Company 1 since it only incurs costs/expenses. Here is the proposed approach:

To proceed with this distribution, I require the column header feacture. This will allow me to exclude Company 1 from the allocation of the amount (5171719), ensuring it is only distributed among the other two companies
