Strange character in "b/s"

Attached is a font called "mega"

When used with the inbound or outbount text objects with "show suffix" enabled, 
a superfluous "box" character (i.e. an "unknown character" place holder) 
appears between the number and the "b/s". Strangely this character disappears 
when the rates are high enough to switch to "kb/s" or "m/b/s"

The same character appears and disappears when using bits in exactly the same 
way.
