improve UI with different colors for bars

Added a gif with this commit
Also improved the display for the Core demo (sizes of emoji + colors of series)

@tjvantoll I couldn't figure out how to implement the Core changes in Vue or Angular at first glance. Doesn't seem like they use the same markup syntax?

I’m pretty sure Vue straight up doesn’t support Palette (it doesn’t crash but doesn’t work either), so I just left it out of that one.
