NativeScript Sidekick Does not Honor "Clean Build" Option #449

Tell us about the problem

Sidekick has an option for a "Clean Build". It largely ignores this, but should honor it. For example, I just ran it after restarting Sidekick, and making some changes to my project. Hot module replacement was also unchecked. The device build ran very quickly, with log messages including:

File change detected. Starting incremental webpack compilation...
[19-12-03 14:37:05.716] (CLI) webpack is watching the files…

Which platform(s) does the issue occur on?

_iOS _Windows

Tell us how to recreate the issue in as much detail as possible

  1. Start the application ..
  2. Plug device into computer
  3. Select device name
  4. Check "Clean Build" and uncheck "Hot Module Replacement" 5.Click "Run on device".

Does this issue happen every time?

Not sure. Have seen it many times.
