This is to push for the withdrawal of ProgCode's participation for the New Founders conference on October. New information as come to light and the partisan nature of the conference may be an issue to our 501(c)4 status.
Problem
The event may be of issue for our non-partisan stance as we are still navigating the non-partisan / partisan space, provided that the organizations added in are mainly partisan by nature, it is best to pull out participation from ProgCode.
Benefit
Safeguard 501(c)4 status, strengthen community, and this will spark conversations on how best to mitigate ProgCode participation on events.
Plan
[ ] consent to implement (there has been an exhaustive amount of discussion on this)
[ ] Reachout to new founders conference to pull out of the event
[ ] Review action
Decision Making
This is a consent to implement. We have discussed the issue
