Project Idea:

Call Queue is an App which assists with connections to representatives. It could also be a module or feature of the larger Phone Your Rep app.

Functionality: Open the app, tap the phone number of your local representative. (The app knows where you are and displays them automagically; no searching) The app then checks for a busy signal. If there is a busy signal the apps says, “We’ll connect you when the line is free.” The app then connects the person when there is no busy signal, whether it’s in a minute or the next day.

I think there's an app similar to this? 5calls.org...but it's rather issue specific. I assume that, since it's open source, it could be adapted...

I have been wanting to work on something like this - where you can pick a particular issue within the app (like tiles or "cards) and you can go down the line to call and follow up with an email with the option to send a prefilled or send your own why. All the ones I see passed on don't have the option to tap on the call to call - which in all honesty limits the likelihood for people to call. and you can share the specific tile or card.
