We have three different minimum viable products that we are looking into making one comprehensive product. Specifically, the Rise Stronger website has a national calendar. Stand Up For Change is an iPhone-only app with effective functionality on Calls To Action and basic calendar functionality. The NYC chapter of Rise Stronger created justiceduckling.com, which is a calendar more specific to NYC.
We are looking to make a consistent UX for both events and calls to action, similar to a souped-up version of Stand Up For Change, that will work across platforms - iPhone, Android, and web. After talking to numerous potential users and activists, a UX modeled after ClassPass seems like it could be effective.
The app/site will need to integrate with Facebook and Eventbrite to avoid the need for organizers to enter their events twice. It should also integrate with Google Calendar for ease of use.
Maps For Change might come in useful in running the map-view part of the calendar, and perhaps Rise Stronger and Maps For Change could share their events databases.

Who we're looking for
UX Designer, database engineer, cybersecurity specialist, and someone to implement the UX consistently across Android, iOS, and web. We have two or three developers, but we need two or three more to implement the desired features.

Where we meet
If you're an organization and you have an idea for a project, think about these questions before coming to the community:
What kind of technical project is this? (A website? An app? A mobile service? A campaign?)
<--Put your answers here!-->
-...
What stage is the project at? (Ideation, implementation, or beta?)
<--Put your answers here!-->
-...
What is the problem you are trying to solve, and why is it a problem?
<--Put your answers here!-->
-...
Do you know of any similar solutions? And what was lacking in the solution?
