The quest automatically completes without interact with the pylon, when you are way far from it

You must build an additional pylon. The complete triggered by proxy, no actual inspection.

The pylon is broken so you cannot interact with it it completes by exploring the area near it. However the explore radius might be to large for the southern tower.
