Poisons #2584

Spell ID's: 2842

Here are some problems I found with poisons:

  1. r1 crippling at 70% slow is very strong for its level (lvl20? not sure)

  2. crippling and wound poison debuffs replace each other, making it impossible to have both on the target

  3. wound poison procs way more than 30% stated in the tooltip, it does significantly more damage than instant poison

  4. instant poison sucks

cant have wound poison and cripling on the same enemy at the same time

Consolidating issues with rogue poisons in this topic.

  1. Rank 1 and Rank 2 Crippling poison both do 70% movement slow on Epoch/Internal. As far as I am aware, rank 1 should be 50% slow in Vanilla / TBC. https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=3775/crippling-poison#comments

  2. Wound Poison and R1 Crippling Poison and Mind numbing poison replace each other out. Confirmed bug on Epoch. Funnily enough they work well with R2 Crippling Poison, allowing 2 poisons on the same target.

  3. Brief testing seems to confirm this, wound poison applies much more often than crippling poison for example, and they both have 30% proc rates (for example, 1.6 auto speed dagger, wound poison always refreshes before 5 seconds elapse)

  4. Not a bug.

  5. Crippling Poison 1 and Mind Numbing Poison 2/3 are treated as junk items.

  6. Wound poison behaves like in WoTLK, applying 50% healing reduction. In TBC it should be 10% per application, stacking up to 50%. Tooltip is a mix of those too -- mentions stacking, but uses the 50% wotlk value.
