I reported the ammo issue myself on beta 3, however on internal it does not happen (possibly fixed?).
Forgot that the issue appeared in beta 3 after aimed shot timer reset. Steady shot resets melee swing timer, disabling the possibility of hunter melee weaving.
Steady shot damage is also bugged... It indeed does not take into account ammo (as intended)... nor base weapon damage (not intended) and I think it does not use base attack power (again not intended). I remember it hitting harder than auto shot in beta 3 while levelling.
Can't mark this for closure with the next update since there's multiple bugs here, so I will state that the next update fixes the damage calculation of Steady Shot, the only issue left here is melee-weaving.
