I've noticed it's semi-common (more than once per lengthy session?) for pets to evade mend pet. I don't know if this is actually helpful since I can't really pinpoint the exact circumstances, LoS isn't an issue as I'm shooting mobs that they are fighting (and then, you can't use it out of LoS), but this too is a thing

Can reproduce just about anywhere close to walls: WoWScrnShot_072524_005244 WoWScrnShot_072524_005337 You can keep casting, GCD happens, mana is taken, but the pet is never getting the effect. There is no "evade" message in either combat text or combat log, it's just not going through.

From what I can tell there are 2 separate issues here: One is the way mend pet itself behaves, not registering that the pet is not in LOS (@zana244 already confirmed this under the spell's own report) Other is that the pet is not in line of sight in these positions: attempting to use any other buff on the pet in the same position returns a LOS error, which is kind of silly because the pet is clearly in line of sight. WoWScrnShot_072524_005726 This LOS near-walls is however a broader issue and will probably take longer to resolve so I will leave both open. This is affecting warlock pets too and is responsible for the 2nd issue in https://github.com/Project-Epoch/bugtracker/issues/2790
