Attempting to take a flight path with Tarnished soul (spell ID 80901) bugs character after losing debuff #8366

First of all, the interaction still takes your money (the cost of the flight), it probably shouldn't. You should also probably get an error message like when you try to mount.

Then, when you first log in after speaking to the Chronicler and removing the debuff, you will start flying out of nowhere. Mostly headed to wherever you purchased the flight path while you had debuff. Gets funky if you are on a different continent. Lots of undermap. Then a loading screen and you're teleported to the destination.
