What would your feature do ?

At the moment, optimization results are only visible in the esdl and user need to click on components to see the changes. Matthias @MaPet01 gave the suggestion to also visualize them in a table, so which assets have been selected by the optimizer etc.

Proposed workflow

When the user request to see the results.

@MaPet01 Can you use the table editor from mapeditor to get this overview?

@samvanderzwan no it is not possible to get an overview (comparison) of what has changed from the input to the output design in terms of assets selected for use (when the system becomes large) and in terms of the values changed by the optimizer for an asset (for example the actual size at the end of a heat source that is different to the input size). There is currently according to my understanding no place to get a overall visual view of this.

This is not possible yet and one of the big topics I’d like to work on in this project: improved visualization of simulation/optimization outputs and comparison of scenarios (or start vs end)
