A legend showing an overview of the various statuses of polygons, points and lines, which a brief explanation.
Such as:
Solid
Grey
Dotted
Blue
Red
Transparant
The legend would be open in the window by default OR be accessible within the 'HELP' submenu (toggle on/off).
The legend would either show a full list of the possible statuses OR show only the used statuses.
The Map editor does not show why assets and layers change color or become transparant. Having a easily accessible overview (Legend) would enable a better understanding of the functioning of the tool.
Proposed workflow
Open ESDL Map Editor
EITHER: have the legend available on the top page
OR go to the menubar, open menuoption "Help" and select the (added) Legend option.
SUGGESTION: The legend would be show beneath the layers window.
