[Bug]: Warning: Joint has more then 2 ports, each time for different joints after running duplicator and validator #43

Open jvandorstrhdhv opened 5 months ago

Is there an existing issue for this?

What happened?

When running the duplicator and that the validator the following warming is shown: "joint has more then 2 ports". Each time you start over with the original file, run the duplicator again and then run the validator, the validator gives this warning but for other joints.

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Run duplicator
  2. Run validator
  3. Start over again with original file attached below

DH_Jan_V3.txt

What should have happened?

Do not give this warning for a different joint each time, only give the warning when there is actually something wrong. Or make sure that the warning is not given at all, by making sure the duplicator works correctly

What browsers do you use to access the UI?

Google Chrome

I'm unable to reproduce this yet. To me it's a bit unclear what "start over with the original file" means. Can you elaborate on the exact (!) things you do. Possibly add some screenshots. Does "start over" mean, load the original file again? Or do you only select the originally loaded ESDL file? Do you remove the ESDL with the return network or not?

Also good to write down: in what environment does this occur? What's the URL you see in the browser?
