Proposed workflow
This KPI includes the following components
Data Collection:
Collect data on the annual electricity consumption of each heat source in the network. This includes electricity used by heat pumps, boilers, and other heating equipment.
KPI Calculation:
Calculate total annual electricity consumption for each heat source. Store calculated KPIs in an ESDL file.
Data display and visualization:
Retrieve KPIs from ESDL file in the front-end. Display annual power consumption data in the toolkit's web front-end. Use charts and graphs to provide a clear visual representation of the data, making it easy for users to compare the annual power consumption of different heat sources.
User customization:
Allow users to select display units (e.g., kilowatt-hours [kWh] or megawatt-hours [MWh]).
Additional information
Discuss with the development team whether the calculation should be done in the KPI Calculator or in the Optimizer/Simulator.
