Worried about using QT, since the default Ubuntu install likely does include the necessary libraries. Researching GTK/TK as viable alternatives.

As discussed in meeting, we'll assume we're using GTK moving forward as GTK will be included on the Ubuntu install our project will be tested on.

Resolved: We're using GTK. Development on GUI has started.
